This white sauce pizza is made from our homemade pizza dough and makes for the perfect entertaining dish!

Ingredients

  • WH Olive Oil Pizza Dough
  • Burrata cheese
  • Fresh arugula
  • Prosciutto
  • 3–4 fresh (or dried) figs, quartered
  • Alfredo sauce of choice
  • Balsamic glaze of choice
  • Honey (we used the Pure star thistle honey)
  • Drizzle of WH organic extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.
  2. Roll out your prepared pizza dough on a well-floured surface. (*Note that you can do this as a circle or rectangle, depending on whether you’re going for the pizza or flatbread look).
  3. Sprinkle cornmeal or flour onto your pizza stone (or cookie sheet). Transfer the dough onto the pizza stone and add about 1/3 cup of Alfredo sauce. Evenly spread it over the pizza dough using a rubber spatula, leaving the edges of the pizza dry for the crust (add more sauce if desired).
  4. Evenly arrange the figs and burrata over the pizza.
  5. Using a pastry brush, evenly brush the WH olive oil along the crust of the pizza.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Add the prosciutto and top with fresh arugula. Drizzle first with honey and WH olive oil. Finish the pizza off with a generous drizzle of balsamic glaze.
